ARD-018, Infrared remote sensor with cableIR infrared remote sensor has a range of 10-80cm This sensor provides accurate distance measurements in the range of 10-80cm. The sensor works by detecting the reflected beam of invisible infrared rays. In the housing there is one infrared transmitter and one infrared detector together with a control circuit. It has three connection pins: power, ground, and an analog voltage output. To use the remote sensor, simply connect it to an analog input on your microcontroller and read the voltage to determine the distance. Requires 4.5V-5.5V power supply and uses 30mA current. It is recommended to put a capacitor of at least 10uF between Vcc and GND. A 3 pin cable is also included in the package.
