KERLAX Glycerol, Chamomile and Mallow Glycerol, Wheat Starch, Liquid Mallow Extract, Liquid Chamomile Extract and Purified Water. Mechanism of action It reduces the firmness of the stool, lubricates it and thus facilitates emptying of the colon. Contraindications Micro enemas should not be used to treat acute abdominal pain or any pain of unknown origin. Side effects In patients who are particularly sensitive to any of the ingredients or who have inflammation of the mucous membrane of the colon, the preparation can cause irritation. Dosage 1 to 2 micro enemas in a 24 hour period. Method of use Each single dose of KERLAX (Glycerol, Chamomile and Mallow) remains individually sealed until the moment of use, guaranteeing hygiene and practicality of the product. To open the container, remove the pouch, then grasp the neck and twist the cap to remove. When handling, do not hold the container for the elastic pump because some of the liquid may leak out. Lubricate the nozzle by squeezing a drop of the liquid and then insert it into the rectum and squeeze the liquid by pressing the elastic pump. Remove the nozzle without depressurizing the pump and dispose of the container in the trash.
